Quality First Teaching for All

  • You already know that high quality teaching is one of the seven building blocks for increasing school effectiveness for disadvantaged children. So, what does inclusive quality first teaching look like?
  • We know that many children struggle with memory. How can we adapt our teaching to address this?
  • What is structured discovery learning and how does it help struggling learners?

This course aims to;

  • To develop your understanding of the significance of working memory and learning
  • To develop your understanding of multi- sensory teaching and learning
  • To enable you to apply this two pronged approach to support all learners
  • To develop your understanding of the components of an inclusive lesson

This course is of interest to classteachers, SENCOs and school leaders

  • Although the course is primarily aimed at teachers, teaching assistants are also welcome if accompanied by a teacher.
