Working with Governors
Resources & Information Page
The most recent Ofsted Handbook places an increased focus on the work of Governing Bodies as part of the overall judgement of the quality of leadership.
SENCOs and SEN Governors have always worked together but perhaps now is a good time to refresh and strengthen that working relationship.
In 2015 we launched a training course 'SENCO & SEN Governor Working Together' which aims to support and empower through information, discussion and practical resources. The SENCO and SEN Governor attend together.
These were well attended and we had some great feedback from both parties. Our last training dates were held in October 2016, we hope to run these again soon.
